All vessels are hand thrown on the wheel and signed by the artist. These ceramic dishes are entirely food safe and lead free. The clay is fired at temperatures as high as 2381 degrees F. This firing process makes the clay become hard much like a stone, thus giving this type of ceramics the name, “stoneware.” Stoneware pottery is famous for its high strength and durability.
